Chinese Kossu panel framed c1880

Chinese Kossu panel in frame c1880. A very fine Chinese Kossu panel (splitweave technique with gold thread) from the late 1800's, mounted under glass in a custom frame measuring 44 inches wide by 7 feet high and 2 and one half inches thick. The panel was difficult to photograph under the glass, so please excuse the reflection made by the track lighting in the gallery ceiling, which appears to be wrinkles in the silk. The silk is not wrinkled.

Antique Chinese day bed. Mahogany with woven wicker. This Chinese day bed dates from the late 17th century, the late 1800's. Classic Chinese form. The neck roll, or head rest, is original. The daybed is in excellent condition. It measures 27 inches deep, 68 inches long and 19 and one half inches high. It would be particularly handsome in a large foyer beneath a grand staircase.

Pair of Antique Chinese carved panel and open fret work doors c1800. This is the best pair of Chinese wooden doors we have ever had. The workmanship is outstanding. Excellent original condition with open fret work and carved scene panel inserts. This matched pair of doors each measure 102 inches high by 27 and one quarter wide by 3 and one half inches thick. Each door has a sliding wood panel that comes up to close the open fret work.
